Ryan Nayar

Ryan Nayar oversees all legal matters for Tri Global Energy, including developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company’s business and overseeing delivery of legal services, including the management of outside counsel.

Before joining Tri Global Energy, Ryan was Vice President, Assistant General Counsel for ENGIE North America, Inc., a subsidiary of ENGIE S.A., a Global Fortune 200 French multinational electric utility company operating in the fields of electricity generation and distribution, natural gas, nuclear and renewable energy. His broad responsibilities included mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, corporate governance, litigation and risk management, crisis response management, labor and employment, HSE, operations, procurement, compliance, business development, and government relations.

Prior to joining ENGIE, Ryan held positions with publicly traded companies in the digital and technology and upstream oil and gas sectors. He also practiced with elite law AMLAW 100 law firms, including Locke Lord LLP and Vinson & Elkins LLP.

Ryan earned his JD with Honors, from The University of Texas School of Law, and a BA cum laude from Claremont McKenna College with a double major in Economics and Government.
