Nima Sherpa is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a strong background in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Grid Operation Specialist at Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association, Inc. since October 2023, Nima previously held the position of Electrical Engineer at Xcel Energy from January 2020 to October 2023. Nima was also a Project Manager for the Maya Sherpa Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving health, education, and environmental conditions in rural Nepal, from 2010 to 2014, and worked as a self-employed trekking and tour guide/organizer from 2008 to 2013. Nima holds a degree in General Studies from Front Range Community College Larimer Campus and has attended Colorado State University from 2016 to 2019, in addition to attending Tribhuvan University from 2009 to 2011.
