Mark "Loeb" Soldan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Mark "Loeb" started their career as a Junior Engineer at Gibbs & Cox, Inc. in 1989. Mark "Loeb" then worked as a Robotics Researcher at Columbia University Mechanical Engineering Robotics Lab, where they built the department's first Robotics Lab and conducted research on machine control algorithms. There, they were involved in creating a family of high-end commercial electric vehicle chargers.

More recently, in 2018, Soldan took on the role of Chief Engineer at Tri-Tec Manufacturing LLC, where they oversee a group of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers responsible for designing new products and supporting legacy products. Tri-Tec Manufacturing specializes in designing and manufacturing valve actuators, fire-safe ventilation valves, and magnetic couplings to DOD standards for the US Navy fleet.
