William Welch has worked in the automation industry since 1996. William began their career with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation as a Field Technical Instructor/Engineer, delivering standard training classes to various customers in the Greater Detroit/Flint/Saginaw areas. William later learned the art and science of developing custom curriculum and courseware. In 2000, they joined Automation Controls, Inc. as an Electrical Controls Engineer/Trainer, where they were responsible for programming, design, integration, and commissioning of automation components and systems. William also acted as a project management leader and technical instructor. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Audio Engineering & Creative Services for BRB Productions-LLC. Currently, they are a Controls Designer at Paslin Corporation, a position they have held since 2013.

William Welch attended the National Institute of Technology from 1991 to 1992, where they earned an Associate's degree in Electronics Technology. William then attended Michigan Technological University (MTU) from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. William also holds certifications in RSLogix, AC/DC Drives, PanelView, and RSView from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation.
