Alex Sweetser

Alex Sweetser is an experienced professional in environmental research and education, currently serving as an Associate at Triangle Associates, Inc. since December 2020. Prior to this role, Alex worked as a Sea Grant Hershman Fellow and Independent Contractor at the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, where efforts included interviewing natural resource managers to document salmon recovery needs and co-developing a decision model to promote tribal treaty rights. Additional experience includes roles at the Puget Sound Institute as a Research Assistant, the University of Washington as a Teaching Assistant, and various research positions at esteemed institutions such as Stanford University and Mass General Hospital. Alex holds a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Washington and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Brain Sciences from Boston University.
