Mark Easley

Mark Easley is a seasoned technology startup advisor and investor with over two decades of experience at Goldhat Advisors, where Mark provides guidance to startups in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina. As an advocate in the investment crowdfunding industry, Easley played a pivotal role in passing the NC PACES Act and previously published and edited CrowdfundNC. In addition to investment activities with the Triangle Tweener Fund, Easley teaches guitar and shares music content on YouTube under Goldhat Music. Easley's past roles include VP of Marketing at PLX Technology, where Mark facilitated an IPO, and sales and marketing positions at Adaptec, focusing on the Asia Pacific market. Early career experiences include work as a Field Application Engineer at Intel and as a Software Engineer at Hewlett-Packard. Easley holds a degree in Computer Science from Purdue University.
