Călin BUTUNOI has a diverse work experience, starting as a Senior Specialist for Major Accounts & Data at Vodafone Romania from 2004 to 2007. Călin then worked as the National Sales Director at CG&GC from 2007 to 2010. Călin's next role was as the General Manager of Ymens, where they successfully launched and grew the Ymens brand on the Romanian Cloud Market, implemented the first Cloud Platform, and built a team of 100 employees within 9 months. After Ymens, Călin became self-employed and took on various roles as an IT Business Partner and Project Manager, supporting companies in achieving GDPR compliance and developing technical solutions. In 2021, Călin worked as a Senior Partner Manager at LogTrade Technology, where they supported the C-Suite in understanding the Romanian market and executed the Central Eastern Europe expansion strategy. Currently, Călin is the Partnerships Manager at Tricent, where they define and creates partnerships, executes the partnership framework, and supports the C-Suite in adopting a "partner first" commercial approach.

Călin BUTUNOI attended the Academia de Studii Economice din București from 2000 to 2004, where they studied Management. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2018, Călin obtained the Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In 2020, they obtained the Project Manager certification from LinkedIn, as well as the Mitt Livs Chans certification from Mitt Liv AB. In 2021, Călin obtained the Strategic Management certification from the Copenhagen Business School, and in 2022, they completed the Leading from the Middle certification from LinkedIn, as well as the Crafting Questions to Make Better Decisions certification. In 2023, Călin obtained the Foundations of Humane Technology certification from the Center for Humane Technology, as well as certifications in Developing Business Partnerships, Strategic Partnerships, and Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms from LinkedIn. In 2021, Călin also obtained the Business Writing certification from the University of Colorado Boulder.
