David Kay

David Kay has a diverse work experience spanning across different industries and roles. David currently holds the position of Director, Enterprise Data Strategy at Tricon Residential since January 2022. Prior to that, they established their own firm, Kay Consulting LLC, in October 2015, where they acted as Founder and Principal Consultant until January 2022. Before launching their consulting business, David worked as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at Aduro from July 2021 to November 2021. David also had a significant tenure at Microsoft, where they held multiple positions including Sr. Finance Manager - Worldwide Commercial Business, Finance and Business Intelligence Manager - Central FP&A, Business Analytics Program Manager - Cloud + Enterprise, and Cloud Solutions Architect - Azure Data and AI. Their employment at Microsoft lasted from July 2016 to July 2021. David started their career as a Financial Analyst MBA Intern at Dine Brands Global in May 2015, before transitioning to become an Injury Prevention and Postural Correction Specialist at Prestige Fitness AZ, where they worked from September 2009 to May 2014.

David Kay has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Business Analytics from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, which they completed in 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Accounting and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University in 2014. Additionally, David has obtained several certifications including "Connected Communities - Engagement Lead 2021" from Microsoft, "Microsoft Specialist: Design and Implement Big Data Analytics Solutions" from Microsoft in 2017, "Applied Machine Learning" and "Principles of Machine Learning" from edX in 2016. David has also completed the "Corrective Exercise Specialist" certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
