Tom Walsh

Tom Walsh serves as General Counsel at Tricon Residential, overseeing legal affairs, government affairs, strategy, compliance, acquisitions, and risk management for the residential rental portfolio since June 2017. Walsh established a legal and compliance department, negotiated joint ventures and financings exceeding $10 billion, and advanced legal systems in various domains, including ethics and corporate governance. Earlier roles include Head of Legal at Tricon American Homes and General Counsel at Ascentra. With extensive legal experience across multiple firms, Walsh possesses a JD from USC Gould School of Law and a BA from the University of Notre Dame, complemented by international studies in Beijing, Taiwan, and at Universidad Iberoamericana.
