Jim Ruck

Jim Ruck began their work experience in 2008 as a Page Designer for Illini Media. In 2010, they started freelancing as both a Product Designer for the product council and a Graphic Designer for their own company, Jim Ruck Design. In 2010, they also joined Quantum Technical Services as a CAD Designer, where they utilized Mechanical Desktop to detail parts and assemblies. Jim then became self-employed in 2016, pivoting their career from industrial design to graphic design. During this time, they expanded their knowledge in graphic design through online educational tutorials and books. Jim designed and built their own website and worked on self-initiated projects. Since 2018, they have been working as a Graphic Designer for TricorBraun.

Jim Ruck completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2005 to 2009.
