Kary Gilkeson

Kary Gilkeson has significant work experience in the field of learning and development. They are currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at TricorBraun since July 2022 and previously held the position of Senior Manager of Learning and Development at the same company since May 2021.

Before joining TricorBraun, Kary worked as the Director of Learning and Organizational Development at MiTek Industries from January 2019 to February 2021. In this role, they built and led the Learning and OD team, launched a global learning management system, and oversaw recognition and service anniversary programs.

Prior to MiTek Industries, Kary served as the Manager of Learning and Organizational Development at Bekaert Corporation from July 2017 to December 2018. From 2011 to 2017, Kary worked at Toyo Tire, North America Manufacturing, Inc. in two different roles. They were the Training Manager and accountable for training processes and procedures while also being responsible for onboarding and continued training and development of all employees. They also trained and certified "OJT" trainers. Additionally, Kary held the position of Workforce Development Manager at the same company.

Kary's career also includes being the President of Allatoona SHRM in 2013 and serving in various roles at Chattahoochee Technical College from 2008 to 2011, including Director of Economic Development and Workforce Training Manager.

They started their career as a Contract Facilitator at Georgia Quick Start in 1999, where they led certification programs, facilitated courses, and participated in program redevelopment. They also worked as an Independent Contract Trainer from 1994 to 2007, providing training services as a contractor. Kary began their professional journey as a Master Facilitator at Pride Parent Training from 1991 to 1993.
