Marco Serrano began their work experience in 2006 as an Applications Engineer at GSC, where they taught SolidWorks to engineers and designers, provided sales demos, and gave technical support to clients. In 2008, they joined TricorBraun as an Industrial Designer, where they designed and engineered custom packaging solutions for various clients, using research and insights to develop innovative products. Marco sketched initial concepts, built rough 3D models, and refined 3D structural geometry with advanced CAD surface modeling. In 2016, they transitioned to the role of Design Development Manager at TricorBraun.
Marco Serrano obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Industrial Design from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 2000 to 2006. In addition, they gained certification from the Grow IDSA Bootcamp in December 2021, provided by Grow - Tomorrow's design leaders.
