Sarah Dean

Sarah Dean is a Development and Technology Scientist at TriCore Reference Laboratories since December 2022, focusing on assay development and validation for oncology and genetics. Concurrently, since May 2015, Sarah Dean serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Central New Mexico Community College, teaching various biology courses and creating engaging educational materials. Previous experience includes positions as a Teaching Assistant and PhD Graduate Student at the University of New Mexico, where responsibilities included research in microbial ecology and teaching assistance. Early roles included field and lab work for institutions such as the University of New Mexico, Archbold Biological Station, and the Connecticut Department of Agriculture. Sarah Dean holds a PhD in Microbial Ecology from the University of New Mexico and a BA in Ecosystem Studies from Hampshire College, complemented by diverse educational experiences in environmental science and sustainability.
