Yasir Taha

Yasir Taha is an experienced petroleum engineering professional with a robust background in managing offshore oil and gas operations. Currently serving as Petroleum Engineering Manager and previously as Senior Petroleum Engineer at Trident Energy since April 2020, Yasir has expertise in subsea well management, production network modeling, field evaluations, and implementations aimed at enhancing efficiency and production. Prior experience includes roles at Glencore UK Ltd. as Production Engineer, and Schlumberger as Senior Artificial Lift Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed well design, ESP installations, and offshore testing. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a BSc in Petroleum Engineering from Sudan University of Science & Technology.
