Erik Anderson

Erik Anderson is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience providing strategic legal counsel in various sectors. Currently serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Trident Seafoods since January 2018, Erik is responsible for advising executives and the board on compliance, M&A, antitrust, and other regulatory matters. Previously held the position of Assistant Vice President & Senior Corporate Counsel at Liberty Mutual Insurance, where guidance was provided on legal risks linked to a major commercial insurance unit. Erik's career also includes senior roles at Safeco and Bullivant Houser Bailey, focusing on commercial and insurance litigation, as well as an early foundation in export strategies at General International Freight Forwarders. Erik holds an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Washington School of Law and a JD, cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law, alongside a BA, cum laude, in International Studies from the University of Washington.
