Chad Barbe

Chad Barbe, PE, is a seasoned professional in naval architecture with a robust background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as Principal Naval Architect at Tridentis since February 2023, Chad previously held the position of Client Liaison Manager at Genoa Design International Ltd. from August 2021 to February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Production Support Engineering Group Manager at Eastern Shipbuilding Group from July 2013 to August 2021, and Project Manager/Naval Architect at Technology Associates, Inc. from April 2012 to July 2013, where responsibilities encompassed project management and proposal writing. Chad's career in naval architecture began as a Naval Architect at Edison Chouest Offshore and VT Halter Marine, following an internship at Ingalls Shipbuilding, where FEA calculations were performed. Chad holds a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of New Orleans.
