Triathlon Coach at TriDot Triathlon Training

Jake Graham has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 at the University of Michigan where they worked as the Woven Wind Design Team Lead, designing and constructing a wind turbine in Guatemala. Jake also served as an Aerospace Department Technical Center Assistant during their time at the university.

After graduating, Jake worked as a Stress Engineer at AERNNOVA AEROSPACE, analyzing the strength of aircraft structures and optimizing technical solutions.

Jake then joined EcoWorks Detroit as an AmeriCorps Youth Energy Squad Green School Coordinator, where they led a team in designing and testing an electricity-generating playground device and implemented energy-saving initiatives in Detroit Public Schools.

Jake later worked at Engineers Without Borders - Detroit Professional Chapter as the Vice President, playing a leadership role in the organization.

In 2016, they joined Energy Sciences as a Project Energy Engineer, conducting energy assessments and strategy development for multiple sites in Michigan.

From 2019 to 2020, Jake worked at Detroit Future City as a Land and Water Works Residential Ambassador Mentor, engaging residents with information on Green Stormwater Infrastructure and hosting community workshops.

In 2018, they joined Resolute Building Intelligence as a Product Manager and later took on the role of an Energy Engineer. Their responsibilities included building software solutions, providing energy consulting services, and recommending energy conservation measures.

Jake's most recent work experience includes being a Triathlon Coach at TriDot Triathlon Training, where they guide athletes using personalized fitness programs based on AI and machine learning algorithms.

In November 2022, Jake will start working as an Ideation Manager at DNV.

Jake Graham earned their Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, where they attended from 2007 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including PMC Level I, PMC Level II, and PMC Level III from Pragmatic Institute in December 2022. Jake also holds the Certified Personal Trainer certification from the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA), which they obtained in September 2021. Furthermore, Jake has achieved the Alpine Level 1 certification from the PSIA - AASI Professional Ski Instructors of America - American Association of Snowboard Instructors in February 2022. Lastly, they received the Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) certification from the Association of Energy Engineers in March 2019.
