Shawn Kerr

Shawn Kerr is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Communications at Trillium Health Partners (THP) where he is responsible for communications and stakeholder relations, corporate strategy, and Health Hubs THP’s off-site integrated health service developments.

Prior to joining THP, Shawn was the Director of Stakeholder Relations and Special Projects at Baycrest Health Sciences where he successfully developed and executed the strategy behind the $123.5M Canadian Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation. He was also the Project Director for the North West Toronto Health Link.

Previously, Shawn was a Senior Policy Advisor to the Premier of Ontario where he provided strategic advice on major initiatives including the Seniors Strategy, health system transformation, Health Links, health capital portfolio, and negotiation of a new agreement between the province’s doctors and the government. Before joining the Premier’s Office, Shawn held successive senior roles in the office of the Minister of Health and Long-Term Care and spent several years in the Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal and Municipal Affairs and Housing focused on land-use and infrastructure planning.
