Michael Smith has a wealth of experience in the field of psychiatry, working in various capacities ranging from Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to Chief Medical Officer. Currently, Michael is the Chief Medical Officer at East Carolina Behavioral Health and Trillium Health Resources, while also running a small outpatient psychiatric practice under Michael E. Smith, MD. Prior to this, Michael was the Psychiatrist/Owner of a large multidisciplinary mental health practice in eastern North Carolina. With a focus on serving the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults, Michael's expertise in the field is extensive and valuable.
