Clinical Director of Outpatient Services at Trilogy

Amy Joiner became the Clinical Director of Outpatient Services in 2014, after serving as the PSR Program Manager since 2010. Amy began her career in the mental health field as a case manager at Trilogy in 2000, after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. In this role at Trilogy, Amy realized her passion for working with adults suffering from severe and persistent mental illness and co-occurring substance use disorders. This passion led her to graduate school, receiving her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology, from Northwestern University in 2004. As the Director of Outpatient Services, Amy oversees the management and direction of various programs at Trilogy, including Individual Therapy & Groups, DBT, Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment, Supported Employment, Recovery Services, Beacon Drop-In Center, InShape, and Behaviors for Healthy Lifestyles. She also co-chairs the Training Committee and Trauma-Informed Care Committee at Trilogy. Amy is currently focusing her efforts on increasing person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based adult outpatient & recovery services throughout the Chicagoland area.
