Sabine Peters

Sabine Peters is a Senior Onderzoeker Mentale Gezondheid Jeugd at Trimbos-instituut since August 2024 and serves as an Editorial Board Member for TSG | Tijdschrift voor gezondheidswetenschappen. Previously, Peters worked as a Wetenschappelijk onderzoeker / projectleider at The Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP) and as Programmamanager innovatie/ preventie/ mentale gezondheid at ZonMw. An Assistant Professor in Psychology at Universiteit Leiden from February 2011 to March 2021, Peters conducted extensive research on children's and adolescents' socio-emotional and cognitive development. Peters earned a PhD in Psychology (cum laude) from Leiden University and holds advanced degrees from the University of Amsterdam. Experience includes coordination roles in educational neuroscience and contributions to scientific publications and projects.
