Julie Ralston

Julie Ralston, MPA, CCP, SPHR has a diverse background in compensation and human resources. Julie currently works as the Director of Compensation at TriMet, where they oversee compensation initiatives. Prior to TriMet, Julie held positions as a Senior Compensation Analyst at TriMet and Senior Compensation Consultant at Umpqua Bank and Boly:Welch. In these roles, they provided strategic compensation guidance, developed compensation structures, and managed base pay compensation. Julie also has experience as a Compensation Analyst at Metro Regional Government, where they conducted classification/compensation studies and recommended salary structures. Earlier in their career, they served as a Human Resources Manager at Hollywood Theaters and a Compensation Analyst at Knowledge Learning Corporation. At Portland Public Schools, Julie worked as a Human Resources Analyst and was involved in classification/compensation studies, benefits analysis, and labor negotiations. Julie Ralston, MPA, CCP, SPHR, completed their education with a Bachelor of Science in Business from Concordia University-Portland in 1999. Julie then pursued a master's degree in Public Administration/HR from Portland State University, graduating in 2008. Julie also holds several certifications, including being a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork and obtaining the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2016.
