Roberta Altstadt

Roberta Altstadt has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in communications and media relations. Roberta is currently the Director of Communications at TriMet, a position they have held since July 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Manager of Media Relations & Communications at TriMet from November 2016 to June 2021. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to promote TriMet and transit use. Before joining TriMet, Roberta worked as a Public Information Officer at TriMet from December 2011 to November 2016, where they coordinated media relations and acted as a spokesperson for the company.

Before their time at TriMet, Roberta worked at Metro as a Communications Assistant from December 2009 to December 2011. Additionally, they served as the Vice President of Product Development at Whitlock Training Group Corporation from October 2006 to July 2009.

Earlier in their career, Roberta gained experience in the media industry. Roberta worked at KATU-TV as an Executive Producer from March 2001 to September 2006 and also served as the Interim News Director/Executive Producer from January 2006 to August 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a News Producer at KATU-TV from November 1999 to March 2001. Roberta also worked as a News Producer at KPTV from September 1994 to October 1999, and at KGW from June 1992 to September 1994.
