Tom Boyd

Tom Boyd is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at TriMet since March 2015, specializing in AWS, CI/CD automation, Terraform, and Puppet configuration management, with a focus on ensuring highly reliable web-based services and database performance. Prior to this role, Tom served as a Senior Systems Engineer, applying DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies using CI/CD within an RHEL/CentOS environment, and has experience in scripting with Bash, Python, and PowerShell. Before joining TriMet, Tom worked at 3D Corporation from January 2004 to February 2015 as an IT Project Manager, where responsibilities included investigating new technologies and leading a project team, and previously held the position of Senior Systems Engineer, supporting network systems for multiple clients and leading a Tier 3 help desk team.
