Alford Forney

Alford Forney has a strong background in database administration and development, with experience in various roles and companies.

Starting in 2001, Forney worked as a Web Developer and Lab Technician at Intel Corporation, where they developed portal sites and conducted benchmarking and compatibility testing of Intel products.

In 2004, Forney served as a Technical Consultant at Microsoft Corporation, participating in product development and usability testing studies.

From 2005-2006, Forney worked as a Database Developer at Novartis, managing the administration, development, and maintenance of SQL Server databases.

In 2005, Forney also had a role as a Database Developer at Cleveland Steel Container, where they created a multi-user database application and performed relational database design.

From 2006-2008, Forney held the position of Database Manager at The Reiser Group, where they were responsible for database modeling, administration, and performance monitoring.

In 2006, Forney also worked as a Database Administrator/Developer at Colt Express, overseeing SQL Server administration, data importing and exporting, and hardware optimization.

From 2008-2011, Forney served as a Database Developer and Administrator at ATA Retail Services, where they handled SSRS server administration, report development, and business intelligence administration.

Most recently, Forney has been working at Trinchero Family Estates since 2011. Alford started as a Database Administrator/Database Developer, managing terabytes of data and supporting over 750+ databases. Alford then transitioned to the role of Senior Software Developer, leading a team and designing and implementing Trinchero's data infrastructure.

Throughout their career, Forney has demonstrated technical leadership, a strong understanding of database management and development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Alford Forney obtained a diploma in General Education from Prospect High School. In addition, they obtained two certifications from Microsoft: MCSA: SQL Server 2012/2014 and MCSA: SQL Server Solutions Associate, both in May 2013.
