Nicole Andrus

Managing Director at Trinchero Family Estates

Nicole Andrus has diverse work experience in the wine industry. Nicole began their career as an enologist at Archery Summit Winery in 1995. Nicole then worked at Bodegas Torres, S.A., where they contributed in the department of Experimental Enology and served as the winery's resident statistician. Nicole also worked as an undergraduate Biology teacher at Florida International University while obtaining their M.S. degree. In 2009, they co-founded Niso Wine Tours, Spain's first tourism operation that offers customizable wine tours. From 2002 to 2018, they worked at Folio Fine Wine Partners, where they specialized in Spanish wine imports and was a partner in the company. In 2014, they co-founded U.V.A. - United Vintners Abroad, a Spanish wine discovery company. Nicole currently holds the role of European Imports Sales Director at Trinchero Family Estates, starting from August 2018.

Nicole Andrus pursued their education diligently, starting with their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Lewis & Clark College, which they earned between 1994 and 1998. Their passion for the subject led their to further their knowledge and skills in the field of Molecular Plant Systematics, resulting in their obtaining a Master of Science degree from Florida International University from 1999 to 2001.
