Tye Taylor has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Tye started their career at Project Services Group, Inc. in 2003, where they worked as a Systems Installer and Fabricator in both shop and field environments. From 2005 to 2007, they served as a Construction Manager, overseeing controls, electrical, and mechanical aspects of projects. In 2007, Tye joined Trinchero Family Estates as an Assistant Plant Engineer, responsible for assisting with plant operations and maintenance. Tye then advanced to the role of Winery Engineer in 2010, where they managed engineering projects related to winery operations. From 2014 to 2017, Tye worked as a Plant Engineer, focusing on plant and facility maintenance and improvement. In 2017, they were promoted to Engineering Manager, overseeing the engineering department. Currently, Tye holds the position of Director of Engineering, where they manage capital expenditure and infrastructure projects.
Tye Taylor has a diverse education history. Tye attended the New Mexico Military Institute from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained a high school degree in Military and Strategic Leadership. Tye then continued their education at the same institution from 1998 to 2000, earning an Associate of Science degree in Engineering. Following this, Tye enrolled in the University of Texas at Arlington College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs, specializing in Mechanical Engineering, although the specific time period for this education is unknown.
In addition to their formal education, Tye Taylor has also obtained several certifications. In August 2022, they received the "SHINGO Principals" certification from Leg Up Solutions®. In May 2022, they completed the "Designing the Future_Product/Project Development" certification from the Lean Enterprise Institute. Tye also completed the "Lean Leader Training" program at Trinchero Family Estates in January 2019. In May 2018, they participated in the "Leadership Development Program LDP" offered by the Center for Creative Leadership. Tye's list of certifications is rounded off by the completion of the "Maximizing Leadership Potential Program" in April 2017, again from the Center for Creative Leadership.
