Kellern Wafula Mungami

Kellern Wafula Mungami is an experienced professional in the field of diagnostics and healthcare, currently serving as the Regional Director for Eastern and North Africa at Trinity Biotech since June 2021. Previously, Kellern held the position of Regional Manager for Eastern Africa at LumiraDx from October 2020 to May 2021 and worked as a Business Development Manager at Cepheid from July 2017 to October 2020, focusing on the integration of TB/HIV solutions. With a robust background at Alere, including roles as Country Manager for Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, and Regional Technical and Training Manager, Kellern managed commercial activities, led technical support initiatives, and facilitated training programs across the region. Earlier career experiences include serving as a Training and Application Specialist at BD Biosciences and as a Lab Technologist at Immunology-CBRD-KEMRI. Kellern holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Immunology from Kenyatta University, earned between 2004 and 2006.
