Elizabeth Sanderson

Elizabeth Sanderson is a seasoned professional in the fields of library science and education, currently serving as a Reference Instruction Librarian at Oakton College since May 2020. With extensive teaching experience at institutions such as Northern Illinois University and Trinity Christian College, Elizabeth also contributes as a Grant Writer for Beti Films Inc. Elizabeth's background includes roles as an Adult Services Librarian at White Oak Library District and an Archivist Intern at Shorefront Legacy Center. An expert in art history, Elizabeth has delivered spotlight lectures and engaged with museum patrons at Kohl Children's Museum. Academic qualifications include a Master of Library and Information Science with a focus on Archiving and Metadata, a Master of Arts in Art History, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art. Currently pursuing a MOT Certification in Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching at the University of Illinois Springfield, Elizabeth continues to enhance professional skills and knowledge in the field.
