Stephen Sands

Stephen Sands is an accomplished music educator and conductor, serving as the Artistic Director and founder of Music in the Somerset Hills since 2010, where responsibilities include principal conducting of the Somerset Hills Community Chorus and directing educational programs. Currently, Stephen is also the Music Director at Re:Soundings and the Managing Director of Ensemble Veritas at Harvard University. Additionally, Stephen conducts Downtown Voices at Trinity Church Wall Street and has extensive experience as a professional tenor, performing with various ensembles and festivals. With over 26 years as a vocal music teacher in the Somerset Hills School District, Stephen has a strong foundation in music education, supported by degrees from Westminster Choir College.
