Syed Ali

Syed Ali is currently the Director of Partnerships & Operations at Trinity Church Wall Street Philanthropies, where Syed focuses on breaking the cycles of mass incarceration and mass homelessness in New York City. Prior to this, Syed worked as a Senior Analyst at HR&A Advisors, where Syed was involved in citywide civic engagement processes, policy work for a philanthropic foundation, and proposed plans for food hubs. Syed also has experience as an Urban Planning Research and Teaching Assistant at Harvard University Graduate School of Design, and as a Neighborhood Planning Intern at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation & Development. With a background in government and English, Syed holds a Master's in Urban Planning from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University.
