Jane Stout

Vice Provost, Biodiversity & Climate at Trinity College Dublin

Jane Stout is the Vice Provost for Biodiversity & Climate at Trinity College Dublin. Jane has spent their career studying the decline of pollinators and the impact of climate change on ecosystems. Jane was a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at the University of Southampton from 1999-2001. Jane has also worked as an environmental consultant and project manager for the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan. In their current role at Trinity College Dublin, they are responsible for leading the university's efforts to address the challenges of climate change and biodiversity loss.

Jane Stout's educational career includes a PhD in Ecology from the University of Southampton, a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Southampton, and schooling from Bishop Stopford School Kettering.

Jane Stout reports to Patrick Prendergast, Provost & President. They are on a team with Michael Rowan - Junior Proctor, Neville Cox - Registrar, and Dónall Mac Dónaill - Register of Chambers.
