Dawn Wheeler

Dawn Wheeler is an experienced educator and career development professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a 2nd grade Instructional Assistant and Extended Day Teacher at Trinity Episcopal School since January 2018, Dawn previously held significant roles at various institutions, including Director of the Career Center at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and Manager of the Career Development Center at Florida State College at Jacksonville. Dawn has demonstrated leadership in career services, innovative student programming, and effective collaborative practices, while also focusing on community engagement, budget management, and fostering environments that encourage creativity and open dialogue. With a Master's degree in Education from Butler University and a Bachelor's degree in English from Tuskegee University, Dawn holds certifications as an MBTI Certified Practitioner and in Service with Distinction.
