Amy Melson

Amy Melson, MSN, RN, CPHRM, currently serves as the Clinical Loss Control Manager at Trinity Health since July 2025. Prior to this role, Amy held the position of Interim Director of Risk Management & Patient Relations at Saint Joseph Health System in Indiana from 2018 to July 2025, where responsibilities included overseeing risk management strategies across multiple healthcare facilities while promoting clinical safety and compliance. Previous experience includes working as a Clinical Performance Nurse at Sound Physicians from 2016 to 2018, providing clinical guidance and enhancing patient care quality. Amy's early career at Saint Joseph Health System involved roles as a Case Manager in Oncology & Nephrology and as a registered nurse in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Interventional Radiology. Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valparaiso University and multiple Master of Science degrees in Nursing and Nursing Education from Bethel University.
