Ruth Goodell

Ruth Goodell serves as the Senior Vice President of Insurance & Risk Management Services at Trinity Health, a $19 billion integrated health system, since 2015. In this role, Ruth leads the development and operationalization of the system-wide corporate risk management program, overseeing initiatives related to property and casualty risk finance, captive insurance operations, claims management, and data analytics. Prior to Trinity Health, Ruth spent over 26 years at Marsh, where responsibilities expanded through various leadership roles in the Detroit Healthcare Practice, focusing on risk retention strategies, insurance placements, and captive operations consulting. Ruth holds a BA in Risk Management from Michigan State University.
