Sharyl Smith, APR, is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Vice President Regional Marketing & Communications at Trinity Health since February 2022, Sharyl manages teams across eight regions. Previously, Sharyl held several senior roles at McLaren Health Care, including Regional Vice President and Vice President of Marketing, where responsibilities encompassed marketing, business development, and media relations for multiple subsidiaries. Earlier experience includes serving as Corporate Director of Integrated Marketing at Detroit Medical Center and as an Account Manager at Airfoil. Sharyl’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Eastern Michigan University.
