Syed Hussain

Syed Hussain currently serves as Senior Vice President and Regional Chief Clinical Officer at Trinity Health Of New England, where responsibilities encompass patient safety, quality, clinical service lines, regulatory compliance, and health informatics, among others. Since August 2018, Syed has led key initiatives, including serving as Incident Commander for the region during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Detroit Medical Center: Sinai-Grace Hospital from 2013 to July 2018, including Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director of International Services, and Chair of the Resident Quality and Safety Council. Syed Hussain earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, completing the Internal Medicine Residency Program from July 2010 to June 2013.
