Roberto Gilardoni

Roberto Gilardoni has extensive experience in the logistics and aviation industry. Roberto currently holds the position of Vice President Asia Pacific at Trinity Logistics USA INC, where they have been since April 2021. Prior to this, they served as Vice President Global Business Development at the same company since January 2019.

Before joining Trinity Logistics USA INC, Gilardoni worked at Etihad Airways from 2014 to 2018. During their time there, they held the role of Head of Global Customer Sales & Verticals, where they were responsible for managing global key accounts, revenue growth, product development, and network optimization. Roberto also served as the Senior Manager Freighters Commercial, overseeing the commercial operations of the freighter fleet.

From 2012 to 2014, Gilardoni worked as the Business Development Director at Heavyweight Air Express, focusing on business growth and development.

Prior to that, they held the position of Commercial Director at Cargoitalia spa from 2009 to 2011. In this role, they were responsible for managing global revenue, directing marketing and sales, network development, customer service, and ground logistics.

Gilardoni also has experience in airport management, having served as the Managing Director of Brescia Airport from 2005 to 2009. In this role, they were responsible for all airport activities, including passengers and cargo handling, as well as defining and implementing business strategies and investment plans.

Their earlier career includes significant roles at Deutsche Post World Net, DHL Worldwide Express, and DHL Aviation Italy. These positions involved overseeing global operations performance, setting operational targets and tactics, managing transit time surveys and benchmarks, and defining operational strategies for achieving corporate objectives.

Throughout their career, Roberto Gilardoni has demonstrated their expertise in various areas of the logistics and aviation industry, including business development, commercial operations, customer sales, network development, and strategy implementation.

Roberto Gilardoni completed their Master's Degree in Civil Engineering Transportation at the Politecnico di Milano from 1986 to 1993.
