Jamie Thompson

Jamie Thompson, class of 2005 alumna, re-joined the Trinity family as an employee in September 2009. A native of Phoenix, Arizona, Jamie earned a bachelor's degree in business administration (finance and management) from Trinity University. Jamie received her M.S. in higher education administration from the University of Kansas and completed her doctorate of education (Ed.D) from the University of Southern California in Organizational Change & Leadership. Her dissertation research focused on students' sense of belonging during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her higher education experiences include student activities, leadership development, fraternity & sorority life, and Student Government Association at Trinity University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the University of Kansas. As the Associate Dean of Students, Jamie supports student success programs such as mentoring and strengths education, as well as collaborates with colleagues across the institution to identify and implement initiatives to enhance the student journey and remove obstacles to student success.
