Laura Márquez Ramsey

Laura Marquez Ramsey is a seasoned higher education professional with extensive experience in academic support services, particularly for underrepresented and at-risk students. Currently serving as a Student Accessibility Specialist at Trinity University since October 2021, Laura previously held the role of Director of the Academic Skills Center at Austin College from July 2002 to October 2021. Laura has successfully managed staff, developed programs, and implemented services to support students with disabilities, enhance academic performance, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additional roles include Interim Director of Academic Services & Advising at Southwestern University and Academic Counselor at The University of Texas at Austin, among others. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and has furthered expertise through a certificate in Autism Spectrum from the University of California, Davis.
