Mike Sims

Mike Sims currently serves as the City Manager for the City of Terrell, a position held since March 2008, following experience as Assistant City Manager. In addition, Mike teaches as an Adjunct Instructor at Trinity Valley Community College since 2013. Previous roles include Deputy Executive Director at STAR Transit from 2014 to 2019 and Senior Program Manager at the North Central Texas Council of Governments from February 1993 to March 2008. Mike holds a Master's in Economics from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs with a focus on Economics from Indiana University Bloomington.
