Matthias Basler

Matthias Basler is currently serving as a Senior Run Plant Specialist at Trinseo since November 2022 and has been with DuPont as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer since May 2019, where responsibilities include electrical design leadership for small and medium projects and participation in several global teams focused on electrical safety, technology, and manufacturing infrastructure. Prior experience includes serving as an Electrical Lead Engineer at The Dow Chemical Company from January 2003 to April 2019, leading the electrical group in Rheinmünster and overseeing various projects and electrical safety assessments across multiple countries. Earlier roles include Electrical Lead Engineer at CRC Clean Room Consulting GmbH, where Matthias led the electrical department and designed power supply systems for semiconductor plants, and Electrical Designer at Ingenieurbüro Bagusat, concentrating on electrical systems for various building types. Matthias holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Electrical Power Engineering from HTWG Hochschule Konstanz, completed in 1993.
