Ted Hu

Ted Hu is an accomplished professional in business development with a focus on the electric vehicle (EV) sector. Currently serving as the EV Business Development Manager at Trinseo since June 2022, Ted leads the company's strategic growth initiatives in EV battery packaging. Prior roles include Senior Market Development Manager at Covestro, where Ted developed EV battery pack business in China for key automotive OEMs and battery manufacturers, and Key Account Manager, overseeing customer relationships for various South area auto OEMs. Previous experience includes sales management positions at Gentex Corporation and 3M, where Ted was instrumental in driving sales growth and maintaining customer relationships with major automotive clients like Toyota, Nissan, and Dongfeng Nissan. Ted's career began as a Sales Supervisor at DENSO, focusing on vehicle project preparation. Ted holds a Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Literature from Beijing Normal University.
