Dr. Michel Castellanos

Dr. Michel Castellanos is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in optical technologies and project management. Currently serving as a Product Manager and Project Manager at Trioptics GmbH since February 2015, Dr. Castellanos has a strong background in research, having worked as a Graduate Researcher and PhD Candidate at Hamburg University of Technology from April 2009 to October 2013, focusing on the applications of optical interconnects in communication systems. Previous roles include a Student Research Assistant at the University of Hamburg and a Student Assistant at Magnicon GmbH. Dr. Castellanos holds a Doctorate in Microphotonics from Hamburg University of Technology, a German Diploma in Physics from the University of Hamburg, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Technology Management from NIT Northern Institute of Technology Management.
