Sean Coughlin

Sean Coughlin has extensive work experience in the optics industry. Sean started their career in 1982 as a Field Service Technician at Ultratech Stepper. In 1987, they joined JML Optical Industries, LLC as a Manufacturing Technician, where they manufactured and polished optical components. In 1988, Sean joined Corning Incorporated as a Manufacturing Technician and was later promoted to Manufacturing Supervisor. Sean held various roles within the company, including Quality Control Engineer and Manufacturing Supervisor, overseeing the assembly and testing of lens systems. Sean worked at Corning Incorporated until 2019. In 2020, Sean joined Trioptics USA as a Service Engineer.

Sean Coughlin has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Sean also has an Associates in Applied Science degree in Optical Technology from Monroe Community College. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Corning Incorporated, although the exact date of certification is not provided.
