Chee Teong Ooi

Chee Teong Ooi has extensive work experience in the travel and hospitality industry. Chee Teong is currently the Chief Executive Officer at Travix International since December 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Associate VP at Trip.com starting from July 2022. From January 2015 to August 2022, they worked at Trip.com Group as the Senior Director, International Air Business, where they led a team to enhance the company's international air content competitiveness and fostered partnerships with airlines and agencies.

Before joining Trip.com Group, Chee Teong Ooi worked at Abacus International from 2007 to 2014. Chee Teong held various positions including General Manager China/Commercial Director, Greater China, where they strengthened Abacus' presence in the China market. Chee Teong also served as the Director of Commercial Division, managing distribution partners and developing strategic markets in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Brunei, and Central Asia. Earlier in their career, Chee Teong Ooi held the role of Assistant General Manager at Abacus International Pte Ltd (China Rep Office) from 2002 to 2007, where they oversaw sales and marketing, customer support, product marketing, and business development activities in China.

Chee Teong began their career as a Project Manager at IFCA Consulting Pte Ltd from 1996 to 2001, managing implementation projects, conducting client sessions, and providing consulting services.
