Cody Newman

Cody Newman has extensive experience in education and sports management. Since February 2009, Cody has served as a middle school Career Exploration teacher and coach at Belton School District. In addition, Cody has been the Recruiting Coordinator and Assistant GM for the Mid Plains League since January 2012, contributing to the development of a collegiate summer baseball league. Cody also umpires baseball games ranging from 13U to college level since April 2011. Previous coaching roles include Head Coach for the KC A's during the Ban Johnson College Summer League from May 2012 to January 2014 and Head Coach for KC A's Baseball from September 2008 to August 2011. Cody's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Saint Mary and coursework in Business Teacher Education from both the University of Central Missouri and Rockhurst University.
