John Gaglioti has over 25 years of experience in a variety of industries, including renewable energy, IT, and design engineering. John started their career as a diver in the US Navy in the late 1980s and went on to work for Mountain Cycle Inc. as a design engineer. John then worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and Proxicom as a software engineer before transitioning into renewable energy with Windfinders Inc. and later Element Power as a project developer and senior project manager. In 2013, they founded Wave Street Power and successfully developed the California Flats Solar project for First Solar. John then worked for GroundWork Renewables as a Principal and Senior Engineer, and for Mynt Systems as a Vice President of Business Development. Currently, they serve as the Senior Director of Business Operations at Triple Oak Power, a company that specializes in developing wind and other carbon-free generation projects.
John Gaglioti received their U.S. Navy Diver Certification from the United States Navy Dive School - Ford Island, Oahu, HI from 1986 to 1987. From 1991 to 1995, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Learning Gantt Charts from LinkedIn in July 2020 and as a Private Aircraft Pilot - Instrument Rated from the Federal Aviation Administration in February 2009.
