Jordan Sweer

Scientist II at Triple Ring Technologies

Jordan Sweer has an educational background in computational biophotonics and biomedical instrumentation. He received his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at Boston University where he researched 3D-printed optical phantoms and Diffuse Optical Spectroscopy Imaging in the Biomedical Optical Technologies lab. Jordan earned his Masters of Science and Engineering degree at Johns Hopkins University, where he researched optical properties of the esophagus using Spatial Frequency Domain Imaging. Through his time at the Computational Biophotonics Lab at Hopkins, Jordan gained experience with implementing Monte Carlo simulations, photometric stereo imaging, medical instrumentation design, and more. Jordan has published work on 3D-printed phantoms as well as presented on esophageal optical properties for early cancer detection. He is a member of SPIE and the Biomedical Engineering Society.
