Edmy A. Rivera Colón

Edmy A. Rivera Colón, CPA has a diverse work experience in finance, accounting, and audit roles. Starting in 1999 at EY, they served as an Audit Manager, responsible for managing and performing audit procedures for various clients. Edmy A. then moved on to Arcos Dorados Caribbean Division as an Accounting Manager in 2010, where they ensured sound financial practices and compliance with accounting rules. In 2011, Edmy joined Triple-S as an Internal Audit Manager, overseeing plan audits and Sarbanes-Oxley assessments. Edmy A. later became the Finance Director Shared Service at Triple-S in 2015, where they had responsibilities such as supervising direct reports, setting objectives, and providing mentorship and leadership to the team.

Edmy A. Rivera Colón, CPA completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, from 1993 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, they attended University Garden High School. In addition to their degree, they also obtained the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in December 2012 and became a Certified Public Accountant in December 2006 through the Governance Board - Colegio de Contadores Públicos Autorizados de Puerto Rico.
